I worked three jobs back home to fund my travels for the past six months. In my sleepy suburban home-town I was constantly exhausted from working. Couple that with seeing my friends at University have the time of their lives on Snapchat, and you have a recipe for much-needed relaxation.
So, landing in Bangkok on 4 January, I spent the better part of three months partying my tail off, relaxing on beaches, and trying to make people jealous on Snapchat. I know, that’s dumb. But, we all do it. But, over the course of those three months, I felt the need for something more meaningful. Actually, I craved something more meaningful. And, I had no idea what to do about it.
It took a combination of reading a few books and meeting a California surfer named Mike to decide writing a short book was my next step.
So, I wrote a book at 18. I finished editing it by 19.
And, as I say in the introduction, my book’s message is simple:
Do the work. Be the change you wish to see in the world. Create
the art you want to experience. Travel the world while you’re young.
Whether you want to write a book, start a business, or travel the world, this
book’s message is clear: Start.
I believe my book answers how to do those things. You can find it here.
